New ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Posters Feature Master Mordo, America Chavez, Wong, And More

When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness drops on May 6th (It’s so close!!!), we’re going to see variants from across many different universes. That much has been clear since the first trailers dropped. It doesn’t look as if any variants are part of the six new character posters released by Marvel today, but then, you never know! They can be hard to spot.

The six new posters feature Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), Wong (Benedict Wong), Master Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), and Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams).

Honestly, these posters are pretty forgettable and I think that’s intentional so as to not spoil anything.

I’m intrigued by the direction for all of the supporting characters. America Chavez is going to be huge, I think, especially as a new generation of Avengers comes together. Wanda is more powerful than ever and is at the center of everything. We’ve seen Wong take over as Sorcerer Supreme and grow is strength, as well. Mordo looks like he’s turned villain but is possibly connected to the Illuminati. And I’m pretty sure one trailer showed Christine Palmer getting married? Something’s definitely up with her.
