‘Knives Out’ Sequel Title Finally Revealed, Will Arrive This Holiday Season

Detective Benoit Blanc is coming back, and now we know when and what the title of his latest mystery will be. Netflix has revealed Rian Johnson’s Knives Out sequel is titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Not only that, but it will arrive this holiday season like a gift under the tree.

Here’s the very brief synopsis for the anticipated sequel:

“In the follow-up to Rian Johnson’s KNIVES OUT, Detective Benoit Blanc travels to Greece to peel back the layers of a mystery involving a new cast of colorful suspects.”

“Peel back the layers”? Y’know, sorta like an onion?

Like the previous film, Glass Onion will have a starry cast that includes the return of Daniel Craig as detective Benoit Blanc. He’s joined by Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.

Netflix paid a ton of money to acquire the next two Knives Out sequels. The first film released in 2019 and made $311M, sparking in audienes a craving for more murder mysteries on the big screen. Well, they’ll get their wish…sorta. They’ll just be on streaming.
