‘Jack Ryan’ Season 3 Trailer: John Krasinski Is Accused Of Treason In Prime Video’s Hit Spy Series

Can you believe it’s been three years since the second season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan came to a close? Considering the popularity of Prime Video’s hit series, I’m guessing it’s been a tough stretch for the show’s fans and for star John Krasinski. Well, the wait is nearly over as season three is right around the corner, with a new mission that will send the CIA agent to Europe.

Here’s the synopsis: In the third season of the action-thriller series, Jack Ryan is working as a CIA case officer in Rome, when he is tipped off that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire, is being resurrected more than 50 years after it was thought to have been shut down. Jack embarks on a mission to confirm the intelligence, but things quickly go awry, and he is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy. Accused of treason, with a Red Notice out for his arrest, Jack is forced to run from his own government, if he has any hope of uncovering the rogue faction before it’s too late. Crisscrossing Europe as he is hunted by former allies and new enemies alike, Jack races against the clock to stop the cascade of destabilizing conflicts from leading to global catastrophe.

Conspiracies, betrayal, false accusations…sounds like another day at the office for Jack Ryan.

The cast sees Wendell Peirce and Michael Kelly return, joined by Tár actress Nina Hoss, Betty Gabriel, James Cosmo, Peter Guinness, Alexei Mavelov, and Michael Peña who plays “Ding” Chavez in this season as well as season four, possibly leading to his own spinoff series.

All eight episodes of Jack Ryan season 3 hit Prime Video on December 21st.
