‘Holland, Michigan’: Nicole Kidman To Star In Amazon Studios Thriller From ‘Fresh’ Director

Nicole Kidman’s previous collaboration with Amazon Studios, Aaron Sorkin’s Being the Ricardos, earned three Oscar nominations including Best Actress. A partnership that successful is worth keeping, and so Kidman and Amazon are teaming up once again on a new thriller to be directed by Mimi Cave.

Deadline reports Kidman will star in Holland, Michigan, a new thriller directed by Cave and penned by Andrew Sodroski. Sodroski’s screenplay topped the 2013 Black List. The story, described as Hitchcockian, centers on the “secrets that lurk beneath a Midwestern town.”

Cave is coming off the success of horror-comedy Fresh, led by a breakout performance by Daisy Edgar-Jones and a creepy/charming one by Sebastian Stan.

Kidman’s relationship with Amazon also includes the drama series Expats, which she will star in and produce.
