Day 5 (June 10th ) and the Final Day of Netflix Geeked Week 2022 is here! Netflix is all about showcasing their newest member feature, Netflix Games. Being honest, I had no idea what to expect nor did I have high hopes. But, the infamous streaming service clearly saved this recently added kick-ass attribute to their mobile platform for last. There’s popular interest in Anime and a demand for quality mobile gaming that can be directly accessed through our fingertips. Netflix has jumped at these recent trends and set the bar even higher by investing heavily in doing just that. Some of these games coming out has even got me giddy with excitment.
Netflix Games is going to release 50 MORE brand stinkin’ new games to their network by the end of this year. Members have access to a library of universal and high quality games AND at no additional cost to paid subscribers. More games will be added over time, assuming that this latest element does well. Some games are available on the app now.
Netflix Games is a huge gamble for the company; after viewing this weeks Geek Week gaming reveal, I firmly believe that the streaming service is headed in a positive direction. Netflix is really paying attention to global market trends that resonate with all age groups and their interests. The veteran streaming service is going above and beyond to explore just that; including, selling their own merchandise for their originals produced. It’s a strategic move that helps justify the increase of their monthly fee. Netflix is expanding its membership world by incorportating multiverse functions on their platform that can be utilized primarily through various streaming sources. More specifically, our mobile devices.
Netflix Games broadens toward more futuristic horizens with games that could potentially bypass the use of traditional console gaming equipment. This, in my opinion, appears to be the direction they’re headed in. Given the quality games about to come out and how easily accessible they are, I am highly impressed. This weeks reveal has been jam-packed with series, film, anime, and games that deliciously cater to all walks of life. Not only that, Netflix is now selling their own merchandise. Members can buy Apparel, Collectibles, and all kinds of Goods at their Netflix Merch Shop . Merchadise will be centered around popular titles of the platform’s original films and series like Stranger Things, Squid Games, The Harder They Fall, The Adam Project and so much more.
The fifth and final day of Netflix Geeked Week 2022 was a mega reveal of the Netflix Games . Members can enjoy this additional feature with some games already available. The gaming addition highlights all new and anticipated games headed to the mobile platform and their newest display does not disappoint! Yesterday’s Stranger Things day showcased some of cast members playing a custome version of Dungeons & Dragons. Given today’s gaming reveal, I suspect that Netflix may release a D & D themed Stranger Things Game possibly in the near future. Momentary speculation but I’ll be keeping an eye out for any news of it, just in case.
