‘On A Wing And A Prayer’ Trailer: Dennis Quaid Pilots A Miracle Flight In New Faith-Based Drama

Dennis Quaid takes the cockpit of a miracle flight in On a Wing and a Prayer, the latest drama from Soul Surfer director Sean McNamara. The film is based on a true story and stars Quaid as Doug White, who must land a plane carrying his family home safely when the pilot suddenly dies mid-flight.

This is Quaid’s third collaboration with McNamara after 2011’s Soul Surfer, and the upcoming drama Reagan, which stars Quaid as President Ronald Reagan.

The faith-based drama also stars Heather Graham and Jesse Metcalfe, with Roma Downey producing. Prime Video plans to release On a Wing and a Prayer on Easter Weekend, April 7th.

In this extraordinary true story of faith and survival, On a Wing and a Prayer follows passenger Doug White’s (Dennis Quaid) harrowing journey to safely land a plane and save his entire family from insurmountable danger, after their pilot dies unexpectedly mid-flight.
