Sylvester Stallone Is The ‘Tulsa King’ In First Look At Taylor Sheridan’s Mafia Series For Paramount+

Even if there was no Star Trek, Paramount+ would be worth a subscription based on Taylor Sheridan’s output alone. Yellowstone has become a franchise unto itself, while he’s also got the Jeremy Renner series Mayor of Kingstown, and more in the works. One of those projects that we hadn’t seen anything from until now is gangster series, Tulsa King, starring Sylvester Stallone.

The first image from Tulsa King reveals Sly as New York City mobster Dwight “The General” Manfredi, looking pretty much like he owns the city. Joining him in the cast are Domenick Lombardozzi, Max Casella, and Vincent Piazza. All good, strong Italian names!

Here’s the synopsis: “The Tulsa King” follows a New York City Italian mobster (Stallone), forced to relocate to the most unlikely of places—Kansas City, Missouri. Set in the present-day, legendary mobster Sal (Stallone) is faced with the startling task of reestablishing his Italian mafia family to the modernized, straight-shooting town of Kansas City. There, Sal encounters surprising and unsuspecting characters who follow him along his unconventional path to power.

Tulsa King hits Paramount+ this fall.
