With Cannes just around the corner, new projects that will be up for grabs on the sales floor are being revealed. And some have really big names attached to them, such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 star, Dave Bautista, who is aboard a new action flick titled Cooler.
Written and directed by Hotel Artemis filmmaker Drew Pearce, Cooler stars Bautista as Ray Sagona, a South Beach bouncer who must find a drug-filled safe stolen from the super club he works at before he Miami PD narcotics bureau arrives to claim it. He has 36-hours to find it, otherwise he risks losing the family he fought so hard to get back.
Add this to a busy year for Bautista, which also includes Knock At the Cabin and the upcoming Dune: Part Two. Pearce is also known for his screenplays for Iron Man 3, Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation, and The Fall Guy. [Deadline]
