Guy Ritchie To Reunite With Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, And Eiza González For Action-Comedy This Summer

Guy Ritchie is moving at the most prolific clip of his career. With The Covenant in theaters now, and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare on the way, Ritchie has already lined up his next film which promises to be one of the biggest for sale at Cannes.

Ritchie will write and direct a new “big budget action spectacle” that will reunite him with Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Eiza González . There are no plot details just yet, but the film is said to also feature Ritchie’s “trademark humor.”

As previously mentioned, the untitled film is a reunion for Ritchie and everyone in the cast. He worked with Cavill on The Man from UNCLE (which is still great, btw) and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare which also features Gonzalez. Meanwhile, Gyllenhaal delivered a powerhouse performance in The Covenant.

Filming is expected to begin this summer in Spain, which should put it ahead of the Aladdin sequel and Hercules movie he’s also attached to.
