DC Readers: Attend A Free Early Screening Of ‘Till’

We’re happy to offer our DC readers the chance to attend a free early screening of Till. The film stars Danielle Deadwyler, Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, Haley Bennett, and Whoopi Goldberg.

SYNOPSIS: Till is a profoundly emotional and cinematic film about the true story of Mamie Till-Mobley’s relentless pursuit of justice for her 14 year old son, Emmett Till, who, in 1955, was lynched while visiting his cousins in Mississippi. In Mamie’s poignant journey of grief turned to action, we see the universal power of a mother’s ability to change the world.

The screening takes place on Tuesday, October 11th at 7:00pm at Landmark E Street. If you’d like to attend, go to the United Artists ticketing site here. Please remember all screenings are first come first served and you’ll need to arrive early to ensure seating. Enjoy the show!

Till opens in theaters on October 13th.
