‘Something In The Dirt’ Teaser: ‘Synchronic’ And ‘Moon Knight’ Duo Go Down A Cosmic Horror Rabbit Hole

The directing duo of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have won their share of dedicated fans with sci-fi horrors The Endless and Synchronic.. Those who love their stuff have something to be very happy about, as the team’s next film, Something in the Dirt, is very-much keeping in brand.

As seen in the teaser, Something in the Dirt follows two neighbors who believe they’ve witnessed a supernatural event, and choose to document it in an attempt to change their lives forever. Sounds simple enough, but this being Benson and Moorhead, nothing is ever quite so simple.

Benson and Moorhead not only directed the film, but they wrote the script and produced, as well. The film was part of the Sundance lineup earlier this year.

This is a bit of a change of pace from the starry Synchronic. Rather than big names like Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan, this time Moorhead and Benson are in the lead roles.

Something in the Dirt opens in theaters on November 4th, and there could be more eyes on this than expected considering the directors’ recent work on Marvel’s Moon Knight series.
