‘The Hunger Games’ Prequel Adds ‘Euphoria’ Star Hunter Schafer As Tigris Snow

The original Hunger Games movies were a launching pad for a lot of careers, including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Amandla Stenberg, and many more. And based on how things are going with the upcoming prequel, The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes, we can expect more of the same.

Variety reports on the latest big addition to the cast, Euphoria star Hunter Schafer. She will play Tigris Snow, cousin and close confidante to future president of Panem, Coriolanus Snow, played by Tom Blyth. Also in the cast is West Side Story breakout Rachel Zegler as impoverished District 12 Tribute Lucy Gray Baird, who will be mentored by the young Coriolanus during the 10th annual Hunger Games.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes opens on November 17th 2023.
