‘Ironheart’: Anthony Ramos Joins Dominique Thorne In Marvel’s Disney+ Series

Last fall a rumor surfaced that Marvel wanted Anthony Ramos for their upcoming Werewolf by Night holiday special. That role ended up going to Gael Garcia Bernal, but it seems Marvel managed to get Ramos under the umbrella, anyway. Deadline reports the In the Heights star has joined Marvel’s Ironheart series coming to Disney+

Ramos joins Dominique Thorne in the Ironheart streaming series, which follows African-American teen Riri Williams, a genius who develops her own armor based on Iron Man tech. Of course, Ramos’ role is being kept a secret, but his character is being set up for future MCU appearances.

Along with his role in the next Transformers movie in 2023, Ramos is clearly having a moment right now. Ironheart will run for six episodes and have scripts penned by Snowpiercer writer Chinaka Hodge.
