‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Disney+ Date Possibly Revealed

With $820M worldwide, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been a huge hit for Disney, and continues to be so in theaters now. But there’s a lot of attention being turned to its eventual streaming date on Disney+, and over the weekend rumors began to surface that a January 20th date had been set. However, it appears those stories were premature, and the film will be available a bit later, but at a time that makes more sense.

Looking at the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever page on Disney+, the film will be available to stream beginning February 1st. So you have to wait a few days more to see Ryan Coogler’s powerful sequel, but the timing does make sense. Why? Because February is Black History Month, that’s why.

A screenshot confirming the new date was captured by Comicbook.com, and it isn’t being seen everywhere. For instance, it’s not on my Disney+ right now. So I would take this with a grain of salt until Disney/Marvel confirms it on their Twitter feed or something.
