We’re now 12 hours away from the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+. Man, just think about how great of a year it’s been for Disney streaming. Hawkeye just ended a week ago, and now we’re capping 2021 off with this anticipated spinoff of The Mandalorian.
Ahead of the big debut, Disney has dropped the first in a series of The Book of Boba Fett posters. This one features Temuera Morrison as the popular bounty hunter with Ming-Na Wen as the assassin Fennec Shand. The two have claimed the criminal empire once ruled by Jabba the Hutt, and are ready to take on anyone who would challenge them.
I think Fennec Shand has the potential to be the most important post-Skywalker Saga character introduced into Star Wars. It’s clear Lucasfilm thinks so, too, and has dropped a brief promo featuring the master assassin, which you can watch below.
The Book of Boba Fett hits Disney+ tomorrow, December 29th, at 3AM EST. And this time they didn’t offer us critics any screeners so we are as in the dark as you. Must be something big about to happen.
Their reign begins. Check out the first in a series of posters inspired by #TheBookOfBobaFett, streaming Wednesday on @DisneyPlus. Art by @a_swainson. pic.twitter.com/AFcpiNHj2u
