Darren Aronofsky And Gillian Flynn Are Teaming Up On An Original Erotic Thriller

Darren Aronofsky already has a lot on his plate. Two projects with A24; Breakthrough with Dwayne Johnson and an Elon Musk biopic. There’s also a remake of the classic horror, Cujo. And now Aronofsky has added a fourth, and it will see him team up with Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn.

Deadline reports Aronofsky and Flynn are joining forces on an original erotic thriller set up at Sony Pictures. Flynn will write the screenplay, while Aronofsky is, for now, on board as a producer.

Plot details are being kept a mystery for now.

Flynn previously adapted her bestselling novel Gone Girl for the screen in 2014. That David Fincher-directed film earned over $350M globally. She also wrote the crime thriller Widows for Steve McQueen.

Aronofsky is coming off the entertaining summer flick Caught Stealing, which had good reviews but was a surprising bust at the box office.
