Is Osgood Perkins’ Keeper not tracking well? Because NEON has just released one more trailer for the film just two weeks after the last one. That’s usually not a good sign. The film is a reunion between Perkins and Tatiana Maslany, who worked together on The Monkey which opened earlier this year. Perkins is a busy dude.
Maslany and Rossif Sutherland play a couple on the brink, only to have their problems exacerbated by wickedness at the secluded cabin they’ve chosen for a romantic anniversary getaway. Again, movie couples need to know this never works out well.
Keeper keeps the partnership between Perkins and NEON going after it began with last year’s hit serial killer flick, Longlegs. It will continue with Perkins’ next movie, The Young People.
SYNOPSIS: “Keeper” follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.
NEON will release Keeper in theaters on November 14th.
