‘Bring Her Back’: Sally Hawkins To Star In New Original Horror From ‘Talk To Me’ Directors And A24

When filmmaking duo The Philippou Brothers earned a whopping $92M for their small-budget horror Talk to Me, A24 was quick to lock in these fresh voices to the genre. Not only is a sequel, Talk 2 Me, on the way, but A24 is aboard an original horror from the siblings, Bring Her Back, with Oscar-nominated actress Sally Hawkins set to star.

Deadline has info on Bring Her Back, but not much as the plot is being kept secret. A24 will produce and distribute the film, joined by Talk to Me and The Babadook producers Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton

Hawkins is a two-time Oscar nominee for Guillermo Del Toro’s The Shape of Water and Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine.  She recently co-starred with Timothee Chalamet in Wonka, playing Willy Wonka’s mother.

Also coming up for the Philippou duo is a Street Fighter movie based on the iconic bestselling fighting game series. But it will be a long ways off as they work on the Talk to Me sequel and Bring Her Back first.
