‘AND’: Yorgos Lanthimos’ Next Film To Star Emma Stone, Margaret Qualley, Jesse Plemons, & Willem Dafoe

Yorgos Lanthimos earned a whopping ten Oscar nominations four years ago with The Favourite, but after such a long wait he’s moving faster than ever. His next film, Poor Things, should have a release date soon. Before that, however, there’s already news on what he’ll do to follow it, and what a cast has already been put together.

Deadline reports Lanthimos will team-up with Searchlight Pictures yet again for AND, a film that’ll boast Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Margaret Qualley, and Willem Dafoe.

Damn.

Details on the plot are being kept a mystery for now, but it’ll have a script co-written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou

This marks the fifth time that Lanthimos has worked with Searchlight Pictures, and it’s been a successful partnership for both sides. Production begins next month in New Orleans, meaning we could get two Lanthimos films in 2023.

Stone has worked with Lanthimos twice before following The Favourite and Poor Things. For everyone else, this will be the first.
