2022 Critics Choice SUPER Awards: ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘WandaVision’, ‘Squid Game’ Lead The Pack

Today the Critics Choice Association announced the winners of the 2022 Critics Choice SUPER Awards, which honors the best in popular genre including superheroes, sci-fi/fantasy, action, and horror! The big winner was Spider-Man: No Way Home with three awards including Best Superhero Movie, Best Villain for Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Best Actor in a Superhero Movie for Andrew Garfield’s performance as Peter Parker!

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which had tied with Spider-man with five nominations, came away with zero victories.

On the TV side, WandaVision and Squid Game led all with three wins each. Predictably, WandaVision won for Best Superhero Series, while Elizabeth Olsen took Best Actress and Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness was Best Villain. Squid Game dominated on the Action side, with actors Lee Jung-jae and HoYeon Jung winning in their categories.
