James Gunn has Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 coming up for Marvel, and it’s likely to be his final outing for the MCU. However, he’s just given us reason to be more excited for the GOTG Holiday Special for Disney+, with the promise of a new character that he clearly thinks is pretty dope!

Well damn, let the speculation begin! My fingers are crossed that it’s either Nova, the Rich Ryder version, or Adam Warlock. Yes, I know Adam Warlock’s cocoon has been seen before, in Guardians of the Galaxy no less, but he hasn’t formally been introduced. Let’s make it happen!
