Sadie Sink Is In For A Deadly Summer At Camp In Trailer For ‘Fear Street Part 2: 1978’

No, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Last week saw Netflix drop the trailer for Fear Street Part 1: 1994, only to have the adaptation of R.L. Stine’s horror novels release a few days later. And now we’re getting the trailer for Part 2: 1978, with the second chapter debuting later this week. It’s all part of three straight weeks comprising the Fear Street trilogy, a major summer event for horror fans.

All three films were directed by Leigh Janiak (Honeymoon) and feature a cast that includes Sadie Sink, Emily Rudd, Ryan Simpkins, Cabe Slye, Gillian Jacobs, Chiara Aurelia, Ben Flores Jr., Kiara Madeira, Olivia Scott Welch, and Ted Sutherland. Marco Beltrami had the task of composing a score meant to send chills down your spine.

SYNOPSIS: Shadyside, 1978. School’s out for summer, and the activities at Camp Nightwing are about to begin. But when another Shadysider is possessed with the urge to kill, the fun in the sun becomes a gruesome fight for survival.

Fear Street Part 2: 1978 hits Netflix on July 9th. It will be followed by Part 3: 1666 on July 16th.
