Last week, we finally got some Spider-Man 4 casting news with reports that Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink had joined star Tom Holland. But wait, were those reports premature? Or completely false? Because Sink isn’t confirming anything.
Joining the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Sink played coy when asked about Spider-Man 4…
“This is news to me,” Sink said. She followed that with a bit more, “No, I have nothing to say about this. The rumors are really cool, though. It’s an awesome rumor… It’s a great character, so it’s cool to read.”
Well, she must’ve spoken to someone at Marvel about something because she knows the character when the rest of us don’t.
Sink is having fun with the rumors and funny casting notices, such as that she’s playing Jean Grey of the X-men. She posted a fake Twitter casting story that her role is actually that of…dear ol’ Uncle Ben!
