‘Ballerina’: Ana De Armas Is Badass In Purple In New Poster And Photo For ‘John Wick’ Spinoff Film

While Keanu Reeves takes a well-deserved break, keeping the universe of John Wick riddled with bullets is Ana de Armas in Ballerina. Ahead of the action flick’s CCXP presentation, Lionsgate has revealed a brand new photo along with a new poster of Armas’ Eve Macarro looking tattooed and badass in purple.

The poster doesn’t reveal much, but the words tattooed on Eve’s back mean something: “Lux In Tenebrus” translates to “light in darkness” in Latin, and given that Eve sets out on a path of vengeance following her family’s murder, it suggests the dark turn she has taken.

Here’s the synopsis: Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

The character Eve, also known as Rooney, was seen in John Wick: Chapter 3-Parabellum played by trained ballerina Unity Phelan.
