‘Ballerina’: Keanu Reeves In Talks To Return For ‘John Wick’ Spinoff Film Starring Ana de Armas

The John Wick franchise is growing, thanks to the popularity of Keanu Reeves as the “Baba Yaga” mercenary himself. With spinoff TV series The Continental on the way, there’s also the spinoff film Ballerina starring Ana de Armas. And now we’re learning that Reeves will be popping up there, as well.

Collider reports that Reeves is already in Prague shooting a role in Ballerina. Other outlets such as Variety say that Reeves is in talks to reprise his role as John Wick in the spinoff film, which centers on a young female assassin seeking revenge on those who murdered her family. Sounds like she and Wick would have a lot to discuss.

The film will also see the return of Ian McShane as Winston, manager of The Continental hotel. Len Wiseman is directing from a script by Shay Hatten.

It’s unclear if Reeves’ role will be a cameo or something larger. Will it tie-in to the John Wick movies themselves, the fourth one due to open on March 23rd 2023?
