‘Old Dads’ Trailer: Bill Burr Is An Out-Of-Touch Father In His Directorial Debut

You’ll never guess, but cranky old comedian Bill Burr has made a movie in which he plays…a cranky old man. Hey, give your audience what they like, right? Burr’s directorial debut, Old Dads, sees him starring alongside Bokeem Woodbine and Bobby Cannavale.

As seen in the new trailer, Burr, Woodbine, and Cannavale play three friends who become fathers late in life and are woefully out of touch with anyone younger than themselves, a big problem to have when your kids are in school.

Burr was a workhorse on this one, not only as star, director, producer, but also co-writer alongside Ben Tishler. The rest of the cast includes Katie Aselton, Reign Edwards, Rachael Harris, Miles Robbins, and Jackie Tohn.

Here’s the synopsis: A cranky middle-aged dad and his two best friends find themselves out of step in a changing world of millennial CEOs and powerful preschool principals.

Old Dads hits Netflix on October 20th.
