‘Dumb Money’: Shailene Woodley Joins Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen & More In Gamestop Stock Comedy

Only a month ago we learned the cast of Dumb Money, Craig Gillespie’s comedy about the Gamestop stock controversy, would have a starry cast of Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Pete Davidson, and Sebastian Stan. Today it got another major boost of star power.

Black Bear Pictures announced that Shailene Woodley has joined the Dumb Money cast. The film is based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Antisocial Network, about a group of Reddit users whose stock short squeeze put a hurting on Wall Street hedge funds. Rebecca Angelo and Lauren Schuker Blum will adapt the screenplay.

Woodley is best known for the Divergent films, as well as HBO’s Big Little Lies. She’s currently filming Michael Mann’s anticipated Ferrari opposite Adam Driver.
