Well, they haven’t been calling The Book of Boba Fett, affectionately, as The Mandalorian 2.5 for nothing. Last week’s episode was, in my opinion, the best of the series and it didn’t feature a single second of actual Boba Fett. The story was completely focused on the returning Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), and characters we know and love from his series. And in keeping with set tradition, they’re getting new character posters all to themselves.
The latest posters feature Din Djarin, along with The Armorer (Emily Swallow) who banished him from their little clan after he admitted to removing his helmet. And fan-favorite Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) gets her own poster, after she and her little droids helped build him a Naboo N-1 starfighter, complete with a little cockpit that looks perfectly Grogu sized.
This episode heavily suggested that we’re going to see a Mando and Grogu reunion very soon. Whether it happens during Book of Boba Fett, or until The Mandalorian season 3, remains unknown. For now, he’s been recruited by Fett and Fennec Shand to help in their fight against the Pike Syndicate, which should be an interesting way to cap off the final two episodes.
But there are rumors going around that we’ll see both Grogu and Luke Skywalker in the coming episodes. It would make sense considering the last time we saw them both, but the source is Cinelinx so take it with a grain, just sayin’.
