Dave Filoni To Direct ‘Star Wars’ Set In ‘The Mandalorian’ Universe

Star Wars Celebration is underway, and of course, it’s always a hotbed of news straight from Lucasfilm. Today is already off to a blistering start, as the future of the franchise on the big screen is clearing up.

Part of the huge news to drop today is that Dave Filoni the mastermind behind Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian, and the upcoming Ahsoka series, will make his feature film debut. And the film he’ll be directing will be set within The Mandalorian universe, so don’t be surprised to see plenty of familiar faces, and the culmination of storylines from that series, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka.

Expect more information to drop on this soon, but it’s just exciting to know that Filoni is moving on up to the big time. He’s the real guru behind the Force right now, so give him all of the things to do, in my opinion.
