“Remedial Action” Taken By WarnerMedia After Concluding ‘Justice League’ Investigation

After months of contentious back-and-forth between Ray Fisher and Warner Bros., the situation appears to have come to an amicable, if vague, conclusion. The investigation launched by WarnerMedia addressing allegations by Ray Fisher of misconduct on Joss Whedon’s Justice League set has come to an end.

The statement from WarnerMedia reads, “WarnerMedia’s investigation into the Justice League movie has concluded and remedial action has been taken.”

Whatever that means.

Actually, it’s probably referring to the recent decision to have Whedon exit the HBO series, The Nevers. Whedon tried to explain it away but the timing, which was while the investigation was taking place, suggested otherwise.

In a series of tweets, Fisher felt vindicated by the response he received by WarnerMedia thanking him for bringing this issue to their attention. That said, he also suggests that more needs to be done and this is not yet over.

We’re probably never going to know all of the details, and that’s fine. It’s probably better for the whole thing to go away now so that Fisher can, hopefully, pick up what remains of his career. Maybe get that solo Cyborg movie rolling again? As for Whedon, well, he’s having a shit time of things recently, isn’t he? Not sure when that’s going to change.
