‘Little Brother’ Trailer: Eric Andre Ruins John Cena’s Life In New Netflix Comedy

The trailer for Netflix comedy Little Brother does not look good. In fact, it looks awful. I know that you know I have a deep dislike of Eric Andre, so that’s a big part of it. On the other hand, I’m a huge fan of John Cena, especially when he tries to play it straight. With Ingrid Goes West director Matt Spicer at the helm, this should be a lot funnier than it appears.

In Little Brother, Cena plays a famous real estate agent with a perfectly curated life. Andre plays his eccentric “younger brother” who unexpectedly arrives and blows up the spot.

Also in the cast are Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, Sherry Cola, Ego Nwodim, Caleb Hearon, Ben Ahlers, Bryce Gheisar, and Pilot Bunch.

The script was co-written by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, the duo behind 2015’s indie comedy, The D Train. That movie is hilarious, by the way.

Because of Cena I’m going to hold out hope that Little Brother surpasses my expectations when it hits Netflix on June 26th.
