‘Send Help’ Trailer: Rachel McAdams And Dylan O’Brien Are Stranded Office Rivals In Sam Raimi’s New Thriller

Have you ever worked in an office with someone you absolutely hated? There’s nothing worse than office politics and workplace rivalries, because they make every day a waking Hell. Now, imagine you’re left stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash, and the only person left to help you survive is…that same workplace colleague you detest so much. That’s the premise of Sam Raimi’s new survival thriller, Send Help, which looks like an absolute blast.

The first trailer for Send Help is here, and it looks like the kind of film fans have been wanting Raimi to return to. It stars Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien as the office rivals. Raimi says he was immediately attracted to the intriguing premise crafted by screenwriters Damian Shannon and Mark Swift…

“I found the two lead characters, Linda and Bradley, to be complex, human, and constantly at odds with each other in often conflicting situations,” Raimi told EW. “The pitch was outrageous and original, all the while tracking these two in their conflict as their power dynamic changed dramatically. I knew right away that I wanted to direct this picture.”

In a statement, Raimi added, “I’ve always loved stories where interesting, dynamic characters are pushed to extremes. In our story, the power shifts create an escalating situation that’s brimming with unexpected turns and suspense.”

Also in the cast are Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth Warakulnukroh, and Emma Raimi.

SYNOPSIS: “Linda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien) are two colleagues who find themselves stranded on a deserted island after they are the only survivors of a plane crash. They must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it is an unsettling and darkly humorous battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.”

20th Century Studios will release Send Help in theaters on January 30th 2026.
