‘Flesh Of The Gods’: Elizabeth Olsen Joins Kristen Stewart & Oscar Isaac In ’80s Vampire Film

About a year ago, we learned that Mandy director Panos Cosmatos was gearing up for his next film, Flesh of the Gods. And right off the bat it promised to be his starriest effort yet as Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac were the first to sign on. Now the film is getting even more star power as Elizabeth Olsen has joined the cast.

XYZ Films made the announcement as Flesh of the Gods hits the Cannes market. Olsen’s name should help make it one of the hottest projects available.

Flesh of the Gods is a 1980s Los Angeles vampire movie Stewart and Isaac playing a married couple who encounter a vampire, played by Olsen.

The film has a screenplay by Se7en and The Killer writer Andrew Kevin Walker, co-written with Cosmatos.

Here’s the synopsis: In glittering 80s LA, married couple Raoul (Isaac) and Alex (Stewart) descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric nighttime realm of 80s Los Angeles. When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless (Olsen) and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence.

Olsen was seen earlier this year in The Assessment, and will star next in the romantic comedy Eternity opposite Miles Teller. That film opens in 2025. There’s always the chance she pops again as Scarlet Witch for Marvel, perhaps in one of the big Avengers movies coming up, or in the Vision Quest series.
