Marvel Studio’s ‘X-Men’ Reboot Rumored To Include These Three Members

It’s a perfect convergence of events this week that’ll lead to loads of rumors. You’ve got San Diego Comic-Con, plus the release of Deadpool & Wolverine. So take anything that you hear that isn’t an official SDCC announcement with a grain of salt, and that goes for this story, too, which deals with Marvel’s upcoming X-Men reboot.

So this rumor comes from “scooper” @MyTimetoShineH who says three confirmed members for Marvel’s X-Men reboot are Angel, Iceman, and Jubilee. Each of them would make sense. Jubilee, who was only a background character in the live-action Fox movies, is among the most popular X-Men around especially with X-Men ’97 bringing her back into the spotlight.

Angel was played by Ben Foster in X-Men: The Last Stand and Ben Hardy in X-Men: Apocalypse, neither portrayal being very good.  He is an original founding member of the team, along with Iceman, who was portrayed by Shawn Ashmore in four movies.

Given the proximity to Deadpool & Wolverine, I have doubts that Marvel will reveal too much about X-Men this week. We might get an official movie title? Or perhaps word about a director. We already know that The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes writer Michael Lesslie has been hired to write the script.

Who else might be on the team? You’ve gotta have Cyclops, right? Beast, maybe? Storm, I think has to be there, and at least one wild card character. Gambit? Who do you want to see in the X-Men reboot?
