Wild ‘Boy Kills World’ Red Band Trailer Has Bill Skarsgard Dealing Death To Everybody

Bill Skarsgard has played Pennywise the Clown, the Marquis in John Wick 4, and has roles playing Nosferatu and Eric Draven coming up. And yet his most violent role might be in Boy Kills World, which looks absolutely off the chain. Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have dropped a new red band trailer that leaves Skarsgard absolutely drenched in blood.

Directed by Moritz Mohr from a script by Arend Remmers and Tyler Burton Smith, the film follows Boy, “a deaf-mute with a vibrant imagination. When his family is murdered, Boy escapes to the jungle and is trained by a mysterious shaman to repress his childish imagination and become an instrument of death.”

And bring death he definitely does. The film is giving off both Deadpool and The Raid vibes, which is one helluva combo.

The cast is tremendous, too, with a number of stars from some pretty big genre flicks. Jessica Roth from Happy Death Day, Yayan Ruhian from The Raid, Andrew Koji from Snake Eyes, Famke Janssen from X-Men, Sharlto Copley from District 9, Bret Gelman from Stranger Things, and Michelle Dockery from The Gentlemen.

Boy Kills World opens in theaters on April 26th.
