Hailee Steinfeld And Wunmi Mosaku Join Ryan Coogler And Michael B. Jordan’s Supernatural Genre Film

Having already worked together on Fruitvale Station, the Creed franchise, and Black Panther, the pairing of Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan is arguably the best in Hollywood. And now they’ve got another collaboration in the works, a supernatural genre flick that has landed at Warner Bros. after an intense studio bidding war we can all understand. Who wouldn’t want to work with these two? And now that film has a few more additions to the cast, most with a similar Marvel connection.

THR reports that Loki and Lovecraft Country star Wunmi Mosaku and Hawkeye‘s Hailee Steinfeld have joined this mysterious project. Deadline adds that Ballers actor Omar Benson Miller is also coming aboard. They join the previously cast Jordan, Jack O’Connell, and Delroy Lindo. O’Connell is expected to play the villain, whatever that entails.

Rumors suggest the film will involve vampires in the Jim Crow south, with Jordan playing dual roles. Shooting is expected to begin this month in New Orleans. Hey, maybe this will be the Blade movie that we’re probably never going to get from Marvel?
