‘Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire’ Trailer: Kaiju Titans Team Up To Face A New Threat On March 29th

Did you see it?? Fans have been going wild at Godzilla Minus One winning an Academy Award over the weekend, something that they likely figured would never happen in their wildest dreams. Well, it’s probably a lot to ask for that the same lofty goals are in place for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, but Legendary and Warner Bros. are still going to deliver the clash of kaiju titans that audiences are expecting

Adam Wingard, who directed the previous Monsterverse film Godzilla vs. Kong in 2021, returns to take things up a notch. Not only are Godzilla and Kong forced to work on the same team to save Hollow Earth from a deadly new threat, but there’s a little Diddy Kong, too! Or Kong Jr. Or Son of Kong. Whatever they’re calling that thing.

Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle return, joined by Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House.

Here’s the synopsis: The epic battle continues! Legendary Pictures’ cinematic Monsterverse follows up the explosive showdown of “Godzilla vs. Kong” with an all-new adventure that pits the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence—and our own. “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” delves further into the histories of these Titans and their origins, as well as the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire opens on March 29th. Sorry, I always laugh at that scene where the two kaiju turn tale and run away like a couple of scared losers.
