‘The Harder They Fall’ Sequel Teased By Director Jeymes Samuel

Was there a movie more cool in 2021 than The Harder They Fall? Shot like the hottest music video ever by director Jeymes Samuel, and with a cast led by Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Idris Elba, Danielle Deadwyler, LaKeith Stanfield, and more, the all-Black Western made a surprising impact on the awards season, and had fans clamoring for a sequel.

While nothing has been made official by Netflix, Samuel recently told a fan on social media that a sequel to The Harder They Fall is coming. The exchange is brief…

Assuming this is really happening, would it again be at Netflix? And who of the original cast would be returning? Majors would probably be a tough call right now, right? Regardless, just the chance that a sequel could happen is going to make a lot of people happy, including yours truly.
