‘The Continental: From The World Of John Wick’ Trailer Takes Us Into The Hotel-For-Assassins’ Origin

John Wick may be back in semi-retirement, for now, but the franchise he left behind is still going strong. The Continental is a Peacock miniseries that serves as a prequel, set decades ahead of current events, of the infamous hotel preferred by only the most distinguished assassins.

The sounds of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” sets the 1970s vibe, as we follow a young Winston Scott in his rise to power as proprietor of The Continental. Colin Woodell plays the younger version of Winston, many years away from the version played by Ian McShane.

There’s still quite a lot of mystery surrounding the three-part series, like the role of Cormac played by the show’s biggest star, Mel Gibson.

Also in the cast are Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada, and Ayomide Adegun as a young Charon, the role most notably filled by the late Lance Reddick.

The Continental: From the World of John Wick hits Peacock this September.
