Cinema Royale: Talking ‘The Pope’s Exorcist’ And ‘Renfield’, Why One Failed And The Other Is Getting A Sequel

After a couple of weeks away, I wanted to get Cinema Royale back on track talking about two recent horror movies, one that failed and one that didn’t. The first is The Pope’s Exorcist, starring Russell Crowe. The other is Renfield, featuring Nicolas Cage as Dracula. Both movies are attempting to do the same thing, ultimately, which is launch franchises. But one was successful and is getting a sequel, while the other has tanked at the box office. The question is why?
