‘Wonder Man’: Demetrius Grosse Joins Marvel Series As Villain Grim Reaper

What’s that about Marvel taking it easy on the number of projects they release in a given year? There’s still so many in development that news on any one of them is constant. Such is the case with Wonder Man, as the upcoming Disney+ series about the Avengers’ most Hollywood member has added someone new to the cast in a significant role.

TVLine confirms that Fear the Walking Dead actor Demetrius Grosse has joined the Wonder Man cast. With Yahya Abdul-Mateen II set to play Simon Williams aka Wonder Man, Gross will take on the role of his villainous brother, Eric Williams aka Grim Reaper. He’s equipped with a powerful scythe weapon, made even stronger by Ultron by the way, that can induce comas.

The history between Simon and Eric is extremely complicated. Let’s just say that resurrection is a recurring theme. It’ll be interesting to see how Marvel Studios plans to keep things simple.

Wonder Man will likely arrive sometime in 2025, with Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton aboard to direct and produce.
