‘We Live In Time’: Florence Pugh And Andrew Garfield In Talks For New Film From ‘Brooklyn’ Director

Fans went nuts at the prospect of Spider-Man Andrew Garfield and Black Widow Florence Pugh working together after seeing them present an award together at the Oscars last weekend. Well, your wish is granted. Deadline reports Garfield and Pugh are in talks to star in StudioCanal’s We Live in Time.

Described as a “funny, deeply moving love story”, other details on the film are unknown. Benedict Cumberbatch is listed as an exec-producer.

Behind the camera is director John Crowley, known for the Oscar-nominated drama Brooklyn. He’ll be working from a script by Nick Payne.

The combination of Pugh, Garfield, and Crowley sounds like it could be what brings them all back to the Academy Awards in the future, but as nominees rather than presenters.
