‘Fatal Attraction’ Series Teaser: Lizzy Caplan And Joshua Jackson Star In Paramount+ Series Remake

Adrian Lyne’s 1987 erotic thriller classic Fatal Attraction is just the latest film to get the series remake treatment. The original film made the pairing of Michael Douglas and Glenn Close iconic, and earned multiple Oscar nominations including Best Picture. In short, Paramount+ has some big shoes to fill.

Lizzy Caplan and Joshua Jackson take over the familiar roles in the Fatal Attraction series. Developed by Alexandra Cunningham and Kevin J. Hynes, with Silver Tree directing all episodes, the show is part of Paramount’s plan to remake many of their library of classics into series form, similar to what they’re doing with Grease.

Here’s the synopsis: “FATAL ATTRACTION is a deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ‘80s cultural touchstone. The new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.”

Also starring Amanda Peet, Alyssa Jirrels, Toby Huss, Reno Wilson, Brian Goodman, Wanda De Jesus, Jessica Harper, and Toks Olagundoye, Fatal Attraction hits Paramount+ on April 30th.
