Lupita Nyong’o To Star In Horror Spinoff ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’

I think we forget that Lupita Nyong’o is, already in this still-early part of her career, an Oscar winner. It’s a big deal when she signs on to do anything, especially since she’s not exactly the most prolific actress out there. While we’re set to see her return for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Nyong’o has lined up another franchise that is nearly as exciting, A Quiet Place.

Deadline reports that Lupita Nyong’o will star in A Quiet Place: Day One. This is the spinoff film from Pig director Michael Sarnsoski. While there aren’t any official details, the film is expected to go back to the first day the monsters arrived.

The hope for Paramount is that this will be the start of another trilogy or more set within this universe. A Quiet Place: Day One arrives on March 8th 2024.
