‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Adds ‘Stranger Things’ Breakout Joseph Quinn

A few months after having one epic final moment in Stranger Things, breakout star Joseph Quinn will now try to survive the monsters of A Quiet Place. Deadline reports Quinn is in talks to join the recently-cast Lupita Nyong’o in A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel film that goes back to the first day the creatures that hunt by sound arrived.

The film is to be directed by Pig helmer Michael Sarnoski, and will center on a totally new set of characters than were seen in the first two movies. John Krasinski, who directed the two previous A Quiet Place films in 2018 and 2021, developed the story.  Details aren’t available on Quinn’s exact role.

A Quiet Place: Day One opens March 8th 2024.
