‘Nocebo’ Trailer: Eva Green And Mark Strong Star In New Psychological Thriller From ‘Vivarium’ Director

Lorcan Finnegan is back with a new psychological thriller that will put stars Eva Green and Mark Strong through their paces. In Nocebo, Green stars as a fashion designer suffering from a mysterious ailment, much to the concern of her husband. But it’s the arrival of a mysterious nanny, played by Chai Fonacier, that promises some relief from the pain through traditional means. Instead, things only get worse for the couple and that household descends into more freakish territory.

The new trailer for Nocebo does a good job of revealing just enough while leaving much obscured. How is the nanny there? She seems to have come out of nowhere, like a heavenly angel…or an angel of death.

This is Finnegan’s first film since 2019’s suburban thriller, Vivarium. He first gained attention for 2016’s Without Name.

Nocebo hits theaters on November 4th, followed by VOD on November 22nd.
