‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ Sets ‘Ant-Man 3’ Writer Jeff Loveness To Pen Marvel’s Phase 6 Film

At Comic-Con, Marvel Studios revealed that Phase 6 would be capped off by a pair of films released within a few months of one another, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty in May 2025, followed by Avengers: Secret Wars in November. While they are very close together, it’s become increasingly clear that two distinct stories are being told because the creative teams will be completely different.

Deadline reports that Jeff Loveness will script Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, coming off of his work on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He joins director Destin Daniel Cretton who is following-up his hit Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

So far there is nobody attached to Avengers: Secret Wars although rumors suggest Ryan Coogler is in the mix.

No details on the plot, of course, but the title tells us to expect  Jonathan Majors’ time-hopping villain Kang: The Conqueror to unveil his master plan. The character first debuted in season one of Loki, and is expected to play a major role in Loveness’ Ant-Man film.
