‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Movie Has An Official Title And 2023 Release Date

The Dungeons & Dragons movie is actually happening. How do we know it’s real this time? Well, it at least has an official title, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and a release date of March 3rd 2023.

Spearheading the project are John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the duo behing Game Night and the Vacation reboot. Chris Pine, Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Regé-Jean Page are set to star

Hasbro and Paramount Pictures first announced this new D&D film back in 2017, in hopes of making the game’s fans forget the prior movie in 2000.

Daley and Goldstein popped up during the Wizards of the Coast’s D&D Direct event to give fans a hint as to what to expect, and to reveal that filming is already completed…

“It’s a dream come true to bring the forgotten realms and the sword coast to life,” Goldstein said. Daley chimed in,  “We just wrapped shooting in some of the world’s most incredible locations.”

Paramount has big plans for D&D, and are planning a spinoff live-action series to go along with it.
