‘This Much I Know To Be True’ Trailer: Andrew Dominik Returns This May With A Nick Cave And Warren Ellis Documentary

Andrew Dominik hasn’t delivered a narrative feature since 2012’s excellent Killing Them Softly, but the New Zealand-born filmmaker is about to have a huge year. Not only will we see his long-awaited, NC-17 rated Marilyn Monroe biopic Blond (starring Ana de Armas), but we’ll also get This Much I Know To Be True, his latest documentary examining Australian musician Nick Cave. The film is a followup to the emotionally bruising 2016 doc One More Time with Feeling, also about Cave.

This time around, Dominik is looking at Cave and his right-hand-man, Warren Ellis, member of the group The Dirty Three and the Bad Seeds and collaborator on amazing film scores for The Assassination of Jesse James, The Proposition, Hell or High Water, and Wind River.

This Much I Know To Be True opens on May 11th.
