Hulu Reveals Teaser For Seth MacFarlane’s ‘The Orville: New Horizons’, Premiere Delayed Until June

If at this point you’ve been waiting since 2018 for a new episode of Seth MacFarlane’s The Orville, then a few more months shouldn’t matter. With the release of the first teaser for the upcoming third season, subtitled New Horizons, Hulu has announced it will debut on June 2nd, rather than the previous date of March 10th.

Although filming on the third season, subtitled New Horizons, began in October 2019, COVID-19 caused a delay of two years. The first couple of seasons aired on Fox, but the series will now be a Hulu exclusive.

MacFarlane had this to say about the upcoming season over Twitter…

The Orville: New Horizons stars MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J. Lee, Mark Jackson, Chad L. Coleman, Jessica Szohr and Anne Winters. It’s set 400 years in the future as the crew of the U.S.S. Orville explores the universe in very Star Trek-like adventures.

Personally, I’ll take this over Star Trek any day.
